-CHANEL-
Chanel is one of the well known brand in the world. Chanel was named after a french fashion designer named Gabrielle Bonheur Coco Chanel.
In early life, Coco Chanel worked in tailoring shop and soon she had a millionare boyfriend. While living with his boyfriend, Chanel began designing hats as a hobby, which soon became a deeper interest of hers. After opening her eyes, Coco left Balsan and took over his apartment in Paris. In 1913, she opened up her very first shop which sold a range of fashionable raincoats and jackets.
Coco Chanel alwyas kept the desgin simple and comfortable. Later Coco came out with her first signature fragrance, Chanel No. 5, in 1921. The perfume was the first to have a designer's name attached to it, and it has enjoyed tremendous success since its introduction.
In 1945, she moved to Switzerland, eventually returning to Paris in 1954, the year she also returned to the fashion world. Her new collection did not have much success with the Parisians because of her relationship with the Nazi spy; however, it was much applauded by the Americans, who were to become her most loyal customers.

Barcode
-Barcode-
My class did a project called barcode. We were supposed to draw any picture and put barcodes in it . First, we need to draw a skect of it and then we drew a final one. The hard part was ; I didnt know what to draw. It was my first time to draw something and put barcodes in it. This project was a challenge for me. When I drew the skect, I was frustrated because I couldnt think of anything but fishes. It took me one class to draw a skecth of a barcoded fish drawing. At first my skect was a barcoded fishes and barcoded sea, but Mrs.Bammi told me that I need to choose one thing to be barcoded, not two, so I decided to put barcode on my sea. Making barcode was little bit hard for me because sometimes I forgot about my fishes and I just make a really long straight line and cover my fishes with my barcode and I need to use my whiteout to make sure the barcode is not covering the fishes. Acuuracy was the thing I need to work on. From this project/assignment, I learned to draw something with barcoded. This project help me to think deeper (develop my ideas). Also, I've learned some new Graphic Effects such as; action, crop, distortion, fragment, etc... I think my drawing is not that good, because I think the coloring and the barcoded part doesnt contrast each other. If I need to make another barcode drawing, I would like to draw the same thing except that I would like to put more graphic effects so that I can proove that I've learned graphic effects and I can use those effects in my picture and so that my picture will look much more better than the one I drew before. After I finished my barcode project, I've become more accurate and more careful about every single detail of my drawing.

Salvador Dali
Salvador Dali is a famous Spanish surrealism painter. He was famous for his strange looking, surrealism painting.
WHAT IS SURREALISM ?
Surrealism is a cultural movement that is best known for the visual artworks and writings of the group members. Surrealist works feature the element of surprise, unexpected juxtapositions and non sequitur; however many Surrealist artists and writers regard their work as an expression of the philosophical movement first and foremost, with the works being an artifact.
Here are some of Salvador Dali's famous surrealism painting :

conflict painting
- Conflict Painting / Abstrak-
Our project was to create a painting/picture about conflict. Before we start the project, Mrs.Bammi showed us some documents and slide shows about Jackson pollock. I was really interested in his way to show his feeling through painting. He splah paints. Even though it looks weird, the color contrast. For my conflict painting, I decided to show how I feel about conflict. I put green color and blue color for my background. The green color represent the land, forest, and the blue color represent the sea and sky. I splashed red paint on it to represent that if conflict happen, the sea, forest, land and sky will be destroyed and there's going to be blood everywhere. Also the red paint represent the death people, people who die in conflict. The most hard thing from this project is to make the color contrast. Before I start my final painting, I made 2 other painting but I messed up because the color doesnt contrast also it was really hard to show my feeling through paintings. I never had suffer from war conflcit so it was really hard to know how the victims suffred. The most fun and easy part was when I splash the red paint. The hard part was when we need to decide what to paint. I had the splashing part for my painting because I think Jackson Pollock painting was extremely good, so I decide to do something similar. If I do this project again, I will put a vocal point. I forgot to put vocal point into my painting and that makes my painting looks awful.

line design
- line design -
This is the first project I did in design art class. Mrs. Bammi told us to draw 5 to 6 simple design that represent our identity such active, strong, kind, etc...- The zig zag line in the left drawing represent that I am active and shy. the big zigzag represent how active I am and the small zig zag represent that sometimes I am shy.
- The curly line represent that I am thoughtful (the wave represent hard time)
- The dots represents that I am boring
- The long line represent that I am friendly
it was hard to do this project because I needed to combine the simple design that represent my identity to make the final. The hardest part was that I need to make the picture contrast, ballance, harmony, etc... The fun part about this project was when we crop something and make it bigger. It was more easier to draw the cropped final drawing than drawing the final project. I learned about ballencing, harmony, and contrast from this project. I also learned to crop the picturea and draw it bigger. This project help me to know more about my identity. I never had any interest in my identity and I was little bit confuse about my identity. If I do this project again I wont change anything because I think my line desgin is pretty good but I would like to change the crop part. the left picture is the final and the right picture is a cropped final picture.

Mandala
Our project was to create mandala that represents our identity. We can draw elements, animals, etc.. to represent our identity. It was fun and little bit hard for me to do this project because at first, I dont really know how and what elements represents my identity. Mostly I used my Korean Identity to create my mandala. I copied some of the Korean symbol and I changed it. Almost all color part in my mandala are blue and red. Its because the color blue and red symbolize that Im Korean because the circle part from Korean flag are red and blue. I made my mandala from basic symbols. My mandala looks like as if was made by a guy because I have dragons and fire like elements in my mandala. I made it like that on purpose because even though Im a girl, I hate girly thing such as skirt, earings, dress and I am strong, tall and quite like a guy does. I've learned a lot from doing this work. I've learned how to draw something using our identiy with elements like fire, wind, water, etc.. If I do this project again I would like to change all of my mandala except the background. I would like to draw my mandala in more detail and in more accurate measurements like a real mandala
